Information for shop representatives

We would like to be covered by IsThereAnyDeal

Great to hear! We cover shops that are authorized resellers, meaning that they are sourcing keys either directly from publishers or from authorized distributors.

When you write us, we will require verification of this. This is usually invoices, contracts or purchase orders. You can black out sensitive data, like prices. We are not interested in your business margins or deals you made, just about the legitimacy of the keys you sell.

You get bonus points if you are already verified by other sources we trust, like rgamedeals.net .

What about marketplaces?

We do not cover marketplaces or other grey market shops.

We are authorized shop, what else do you need?

After we verify and check your shop, we will need to ask few more coverage questions, and we will need an access to a product feed.

Coverage

Most importantly, we need to know where you are selling to, and how you're dealing with different countries, so we can properly track you. Typically, this will be:

  • What countries are you selling to?
  • Do you have regional prices?
  • Do you have regional restrictions (i.e. does your game catalog look the same for each country)?

Product feed

We will periodically check your product feed to update your prices on our end. Our target update frequency is 20 minutes. This may vary due to technical reasons, or if you need us to check less often.

Technical specifications of product feeds will differ shop by shop but we can usually work with what you have.

We have seen single feeds where all countries and regional prices are listed with blacklist and whitelist fields, multiple feeds per shop each for specific country, paginated feeds or singular feeds and even really atypical feeds.

Any way you decide to implement your feed, it should contain at least the following:

  • Title of the game
  • URL to product page on your shop
  • Regular, non-sale price
  • Current price
  • Unique, permanent, identifier of the game. Typically SKU, or whatever ID you're using on the shop. We need to be able to identify the game.
  • Platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux...)
  • DRM or activation (DRM Free, activation on Steam, Epic, EA, Ubisoft…)
  • Regional availability. Typically a whitelist or blacklist of countries where the game can or can't be sold. Does not apply if you have feeds for individual countries where we expect only available products to be listed
  • Date when the sale ends (optional)
  • Sale name, if it's part of the named sale, e.g. winter sale (optional)

We may use anything else you decide to include in the feed. Most common is the inclusion of assets (banner/boxart).

We can also automatically track your vouchers. Usually implemented as separate voucher feed. This will allow you to run extra promotions for specific games without ever needing to interact with our voucher form, and is generally faster because it skips the need for moderator's approval.

Will this cost us anything? What do we get?

Inclusion on IsThereAnyDeal is free. However, if you have affiliate program, we would appreciate being part of it.

We will be upfront with our philosophy - being part of an affiliate program won't give you preferential listing. We want shops to compete fairly and provide the best possible prices to our users.

That said, when we have an affiliate partnership, your shop will be listed with an icon. Our users know that purchasing from these shops is beneficial to us, and may be swayed to purchase from you because of this. We will also provide you access to our API , which we know some shops use to monitor their competition and update their own pricing.

You can also run Voucher Campaigns with us, where a private, unique voucher is send to our users if you want to push specific game without running public deals. Other tools may be available now, or in the future. If you have something in mind, we can certainly talk about it.

Sounds good, what now?

Send us an email at info@isthereanydeal.com, and we'll take it from there.
