Review #941

This place is extremely aggressive with its FOMO marketing. It has been that way in the beginning, constantly having a ticking clock on every bundle and no expectation to ever see the games again, but it delivered. The games had a lot of hype and they were good. It was really exciting in the beginning. But lately the games have been becoming more and more generic, and worse, they've amped up the FOMO as high as it will go. So now, every time you try to buy a game, it tells you you're missing out on discounts unless you sign up for its monthly subscription. And then once you're on the monthly subscription and you try to cancel, it tells you you're missing out on next month's surprise games that might be super awesome. They'll contract the value of their offerings and then grandfather old accounts in order to convince you at all times that you better keep opening your wallet for them or one day you'll lose out on the better subscriptions, etc. It's very manipulative and annoying and they show no signs of slowing down. They seem to be testing every dirty FOMO trick, seeing which ones stick.
