500 or Five Hundred is a trick-taking card game, originally from the United States, but also popular in the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Paradice Five Hundred implements the most popular, 4-player variant, with two teams of two players, 10 cards per hand, and each player bidding for contracts.
The game supports bids of 6-10 tricks, in any suit (or no trumps), as well as a 3-card kitty issued to the highest bidder. The game ends when one team scores over 500 points, or when a team loses by scoring negative 500 through failed bids.
