My Last War

At the beginning of the 20th century, a conflict known as The Great War ravaged Europe, destroying most of its cities and wiping off an entire generation of adult men and women. Amidst the ruins of old Europe, teenagers fight a war they themselves didn't start. After experiencing a revealing dream, 19-year-old sergeant Maria Strauss decides she will do whatever it takes to stop the war. Can she do it? Will she succeed where so many others have failed? In this highly innovative and experimental visual novel, we have done something few others have tried: we took inspiration directly from early 20th century art to create a narrative that portrays the horrors of war properly, all the while still remaining loyal to the famous anime aesthetics and its tropes.
