The Wolf of Derevnya

When the villagers of Derevnya begin turning up maimed, suspicion falls on you. Track down the beast to clear your name and save the village - but to unravel the mystery, you will need to confront your own past. Nightwell Games' inaugural title is a survival-horror narrative game set in the rich medieval world of Kievan Rus'. After the demo version of this game made waves in InkJam 2022 and Spooktober 4th Annual Visual Novel Jam, we are pleased to now present the full-length game. This 7-chapter illustrated choose your own adventure game/visual novel is 70,000 words long with four possible endings. There are over 200 meaningful choices in this game, including a customizable protagonist and 16 different discoverable backstories. It includes 40 high-res hand-drawn illustrations and a button-click interface.
